Nerf Mega Magnus Review (9/10)

When you just need that extra punch...
This Magnus turned up as another one of the blasters I received on Christmas and after hearing about countless sour experiences with the Centurion, I couldn't really help but expect the worst from this new heavy pistol that hit the stores only recently. Just to put it this way, it's nothing you would expect, at all.

SuperMAXX 5000 Inbound

Punching through soda cans since 1998.
I really could not help myself, I saw this SM5k in my recommended items on eBay today while browsing for film equipment for only $50 bucks and I snatched it up on the spot. This being one of the one of the rarest and most expensive blasters out there, I feel pretty lucky I got it this cheap. As you can tell, the barrel attachments are missing and the ammo holders on the top have long busted off but the guts of this blaster are fully functional and the seller said it feels like it still could packs a punch, so I really have no excuse not to modify this thing now. Either way, these totally suck in stock form anyways. I'm going to do a full tank relocation, toss a brass breech in front, and I might sell this one on later when I'm done if I don't fall in love with the results and decide to keep it. Oh and more good news, I also got the brass I need to finish the Hyperion's internals finally after a year of sitting in a box. This should be interesting.

Nerf Revonix360 Review (4)

You spin me right round.
Ok yeah, call me a hypocrite but this was totally uncalled for. So when I said a was dropping Nerf for some time I did actually mean it, so when I found a Magnus, a Stockade, and Revonix360 under the tree from my family members, I feel like some of them didn't get the message. Ah, what the hell, reviewing this stuff now that I have it only seems necessary(I'm not going to review the Stockade, you all know what it does) and plus, I don't see many Revonix360 reviews out there, let alone any that are in depth.

Gran Turismo 6 Standard Cars

This R390 is practically a total remodel.
All I can say is holy crap. When I first heard there were standard cars in GT6, I was a little pissed knowing that they were really just cars ripped straight from Gran Turismo 4 and as a result they looked like complete ass. But Polyphony Digital said that they were retooling the cars a bit for GT6 and wow, it looks like they did a little more than just a "bit" of work to make these cars HD spec. Although they still arn't as pretty as the Premium cars, they don't look alien next to one now. Round of applause.
